Every business has a beginning
Ours started with a small kirana shop in Surat in 1962 — built on a simple idea: provide good products, fair prices, and honest service to the community.
In those early days, the store was more than just a place to buy groceries. It was a neighborhood hub where people came not just to shop, but to connect.
Over the decades, that small shop slowly grew alongside the city of Surat.
As the needs of customers evolved, so did we.

In 1962, a small kirana store was opened in the athwagate area of Surat under the name R Dhiraj Modi.

In 2000, we expanded 10x in size, from a 3000sq ft store to a 30,000sq ft departmental Store, under the name of Dhiraj Sons The Mega store.

  • Over the years, with 16+ stores across South Gujarat, we continue to serve generations of families.
